Shipping Policy

All orders ship within 5-7 days for domestic deliveries (India) and 7-21 internationally. Any unforeseen occurrences like natural disasters, strikes etc; or usage of remote pin codes may cause delays which Riverlight Pictures Pvt. Ltd. will not be responsible for.

SECTION 1 DELIVERY AND DAMAGE​

1. The place for delivery of the Goods will be as shown on the Order and the normal method of delivery (unless specifically agreed otherwise) shall be regular postage or courier at the discretion of  Riverlight Pictures Pvt. Ltd.

2. Riverlight Pictures Pvt. Ltd. will endeavour to process and ship the purchase Order within 5 to 7 working days of Order Confirmation, or in the case of rentals, 10 business days or as otherwise stipulated in the Rental Agreement. Any dates quoted for delivery of the Goods are indicative only. Time for delivery will not be of the essence of the Contract and Riverlight Pictures Pvt. Ltd. will not be liable for any loss or expenses sustained by the Buyer arising from any delay in the delivery of the Goods howsoever caused.

3. The Buyer must inspect the Goods on delivery and, in the case where Goods have been visibly damaged in transportation delivery should be refused. Once delivery is accepted it will constitute conclusive evidence against the Buyer of receipt of the quantity of Goods indicated on that document free from any apparent defect or damage. If the Goods are alleged to be defective, a photograph of the defect along with a description of the alleged defect must be sent via email at mail@riverlightpictures.in with 24 hours of delivery.

4. If the Buyer wrongfully fails to take delivery of the Goods,  Riverlight Pictures Pvt. Ltd. shall be under no obligation to refund the Price.

5. Purchased Goods may not be returned to Riverlight Pictures Pvt. Ltd. except as provided in Section 5 below.

6. Goods may be replaced as detailed in the Replacement Policy as provided in Section 5 below.

7. Risk of damage to or loss of the Goods will pass to the Buyer on delivery at the agreed address. Riverlight Pictures Pvt. Ltd. will not be held liable for any damage to any Goods caused anytime after Receipt of the Order. Riverlight Pictures Pvt. Ltd. will not be able to accept any returns of Goods 24 hours after Receipt.

SECTION 2 REPLACEMENT POLICY, CANCELLATIONS AND DAMAGE

Replacement Goods are governed by the Special Conditions that follow:​

1. Due to the bespoke or made-to-order nature of the Goods sold on Riverlight Store, no cancellations are possible.

2. The Buyer shall have the right to request a Replacement of the Order within 48 hours of Receipt if the item is Defective provided they do the following: (i) Email mail@riverlightpictures.in within 48 hours of Receipt stating: (a) The Invoice Number (b) Artwork title (c) Reason for return, (d) Request for replacement and (e) detailed images which represent factually the nature of the Defect; (ii) Return the Goods to Riverlight Pictures Pvt. Ltd. in the condition it arrived in, via the instructions that Riverlight Pictures Pvt. Ltd. sends following your email; (iii) All Goods must be returned in their original packaging (which the Buyer should retain for the purpose) and must be in an unused condition.

3. To return the Order, the Buyer should prepare the Order package with the address: 401 - Silver Spring, Sherly Rajan Road, Rizvi Complex, Bandra West, Mumbai 400050

4. Riverlight Pictures Pvt. Ltd. will be responsible for paying for shipping costs for returning the Order only when it is agreed by Riverlight Pictures Pvt. Ltd. that Goods are defective.

5. Depending on where the Buyer lives, the time it may take for the Buyer’s Replacement Order to reach the Buyer, may vary.

6. All framing supplied by Riverlight Pictures Pvt. Ltd. is custom made to a specific purchase item. Any purchased item with a custom frame provided by Riverlight Pictures Pvt. Ltd. shall not apply for any refund or exchange.

7. Riverlight Pictures Pvt. Ltd. will process Replacements within 30 days of receiving returned Order of Goods from the Buyer in the post or via our chosen common carrier.
