"A hundredth of a second here, a hundredth of a second there –
even if you put them end to end, they still only add up to
one, two, perhaps three seconds, snatched from eternity."
- Robert Doisneau
Landour
A surrogate to me, a symbol of creative regeneration for Vivek, Landour has us hooked. The time we spent there, over months during the pandemic, will not return. That time was unique, that circumstance surreal. I reconnected with the mountains, drowning in the surge of memories from my childhood in Nainital. Vivek had boundless freedom to spend months rambling with his camera in a setting that has settled into his soul. This is us, in Landour.
